A Bachelor of Arts Major in Communications with over 35 years of solid accomplishments in sales, advertising and new business development.  A creative, highly organized and self-motivated professional who maintains an innovative approach towards account management through effective planning and presentations.

 

An Independent Real Estate Consultant in SW Florida.  Also, a third generation licensed & credited realtor involved in multi-state referral, cross-border & international sales in Canada and Asia.

She enjoys early retirement by volunteering time and donating skills to deserving organizations representing her passion for education, culture and the performing arts. She is the Founder & Principal Performer for Sultan's Dreams @2011  Cultural Dance Troupe.  She is also the Director of Cultural Affairs for the Cultural Heritage Center of Southwest Florida.

Vice President

Yuan worked for the DC Courts from 2002 to her retirement in the fall of 2020. She held titles of Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer for 15 years. In these roles, she led the dynamic and innovative information technology division of 75 full-time employees and 15 long-term contractors that supports the Courts technology needs. Yuan worked with the Courts’ judicial leadership and the senior executives to make technology policies. She served as the chairperson of various DC Courts committees. Yuan had revitalized the DC Courts IT operations, and had effectively implemented new technologies to resolve business issues. 

 

Yuan moved to Cape Coral, Florida from Northern Virginia in late 2020 after her successful career of 35 years in the United Kingdom and the United States. She is committed to volunteer her time to serve the local community.

Treasurer, Pioneer Member since 2000

Kim Chen has been a member of the Rogers Wood Hill Starman & Gustason CPA Tax Services Team for over 30 years and became a shareholder in 2012. Kim is an accredited Florida CPA.  Since joining RWHSG in 1999, Kim has worked extensively with individuals, small businesses, fiduciaries, tax exempt organizations and employee benefit plans.  She has served as Tax Manager for five years before she became a partner with RWHSG. 


Kim graduated from Old Dominion University in Virginia with a Master of Science degree in Taxation.  She earned her Bachelor of Economics degree in Insurance from Shanghai Economics and Finance University.
Kim enjoys working with clients to plan tax transactions in order to obtain optimal benefit from the ever-changing tax codes, and is a member of AICPA & FICPA.  She is fluent in various Chinese dialects.

Treasurer

Jeanne has been an active member of NAPA, now APASWFL since 2011.  She has been leading the local Filipino Community since 1995 as dedicated officer and as President of the Filipino-American Association of SWFL.  She is truly an asset with her expertise in our local Cultural & Social Event Planning as well as her established Diplomatic and Nationwide Recognition. 

Jeanne earned her degree in Business Administration from New York University and International Banking Accounting Associate in New York City.  Since her move to Southwest Florida from New York City, she held the positions of Internal Control Specialist for SunTrust Bank (Now Truist Bank) in charge of 15 branches in Lee County, Former Chairperson for the City of Cape Coral Minority Committee and Accounts Payable Specialist then Advertising Team Coordinator with The News Press/Naples Daily News/ USA Today.

    Public Relations Officer

    Rei has over 28 years of fundraising and donor development experience. Her notable successes were the International Auto Show/Afterglow and the Red Wings Celebrity Golf Tournament. She also contributed her skills to the fundraising events for Inner City Youth Agencies with dignitaries and government officials from the City of Detroit, Michigan.

     

    Rei has been involved with the promotion of AsiaFest since 2015.  She has continued to support APASWFL projects and events.  A dedicated member providing continued guidance and encouragement to all members.

    Secretary

    Born and raised in Myanmar (Burma), Vonlaree came to the US in 2005 as a war refugee. She is fluent in speaking Burmese, Mon, and English and is a very influential leader in the Burmese Community in Fort Wayne, Indiana for over 15 years as President of Mon Women Association of America and currently leads the Burmese Women Support Group empowering women with their mindset towards success.

    Vonlaree started her professional career as a mortgage lending assistant at Wells Fargo Bank, received her Real Estate license in 2018 and continues her success as a Realtor in SWFL.  She is the first Burmese realtor to be featured in the cover of Real Producer Magazine.

    Her family enjoys the bountiful tropical fruits trees, flowers and vegetables in their 3.5 acre residence and loves the opportunity to share their harvests with the local community.  Her mission in life is to help and show the community how to live a better life.

    Graphic Designer

    Siva is the owner of Siva McAteer Design Group, LLC, Hmong Book Publishing and Claddagh House Publishing. She is a creative and talented individual who has a passion for all aspects of design. She has a Bachelor of Science in Design Communications from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Her specialty is in graphic design, packaging, and publishing. Siva has been in the industry since 1999. 

    She has created and designed the branding of the APASWFL Logo and has continued to provide her professionalism and expertise in the production of our annual AsiaFest Program Booklet and maintenance of our Web presence.

    Carmen Fantaci

      Scholarship Committee Coordinator

      Known to most as Candy and she has been volunteering with APASWFL since 2014. Candy has provided excellent production management during AsiaFest, Kickoffs, Scholarship Awards and Fundraising events.  She has served as the associations' liaison to the local Latin Community to expand our reach and mutual event collaboration.

      A Certified Crowd Manager and dedicated supporter of APASWFL's Annual & Special Events.

        Planning Manager

        Robert has been volunteering with APASWFL since 2016. He continues to ensure effective management of the production of our APASWFL events. A Certified Crowd Manager and efficiently leads safety & security at our annual AsiaFest Celebration and International Fest. Robert is a dedicated and valued supporter for all APASWFL projects in Southwest Florida.

        Dr. Colin Feng

          ASIAFEST Chairman

          Dr. Colin Feng was born and raised in China. A graduate from the Xian Jiao Tong University majoring in Business Management.  He continued his education in Ohio University and received his Master degree in Economics. Colin pursued to earn his Doctor degree in Economics from The Ohio State University in 1995. 

          Dr. Colin Feng is a certified financial planner with Equitable Advisors, LLC.  He has been selected as Southwest Florida Five Star Wealth Manager every year since 2012 by Gulf Shore Magazine. He also specializes in life insurance, disability insurance, and long-term care insurance.  Dr. Colin Feng taught Economics at Florida Southwestern State Community College. 

          Dr. Colin Feng is very active in the local community and participates in many non-profit organizations in Southwest Florida.  He is a member of the South Fort Myers Rotary Club.  He was the past president of the Kiwanis Club of San Carlos Park-Estero, the past president of the Southwest Florida Chinese Association, as well as past president of the Naples Asian Professionals Association.

            Theodosia "Teddy" Angeles was born and raised in the Philippines. A graduate BS Management & Accounting, BS Painting-undergrad University of the Philippines.  Founding Director of CAROL Foundation, an Eye Center providing cataract removal, glaucoma treatment and related eye diseases treatment for the underprivileged in Gapan, Nueva Ecija.

            In 2013, Teddy moved to the United States and has continued to pursue her passion for Photography and Painting in Naples Florida. She has successfully photographed local events, fashion shows, wedding and featured street photo shoots. She continues to paint with utmost love.
